What to try first
- Stop the agent and don’t run anything else in that folder until you’ve looked at what changed.
- Check version control first: git status and git diff show what changed, and git can restore committed files. Then check the tool’s own checkpoints or undo.
- Before the next run, commit or back up your work, keep the agent inside the project folder, and require approval for terminal commands and deletes.
- Report it to the tool with the prompt, the log and the version number, so it can be reproduced.
