What to try first
- Find where you subscribed: the website, Apple, or Google Play. Each one handles cancelling and refunds separately.
- Screenshot your cancellation confirmation, the charge and your plan page before you contact anyone.
- Ask the company for a refund in writing, through its own help center. Our free message builder writes it for you.
- If they don’t fix a charge you didn’t authorize, your bank or card issuer can dispute it.
